I am a counsellor from New Zealand, working both nationwide and internationally via video call.
As a counsellor, I provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where my clients feel heard. I have extensive experience working with both individuals and couples (relationship counselling), helping them design the life they truly want to live.
I work with three core principles:
Clarity: Understanding our thoughts and emotions enhances self-awareness and enables better decision-making.
Evolution: Life’s challenges present opportunities for growth and transformation.
Oneness: Relationships, family, and friendships are fundamental to well-being and happiness. We all have the innate ability to foster meaningful connections.
A Decade of Transformative Experience
For over 10 years, I have applied the transformative framework of Possibility Management in my own life while guiding clients on their personal growth journeys. Possibility Management has elements that cannot be found in any other method but also incorporates valuable insights from, for example, transactional analysis. I also integrate elements of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS)—both highly effective, research-backed modalities. EFT is widely regarded as the gold standard in relationship counselling.
Given my passion for my work and my constant desire to expand my professional knowledge, I regularly engage in supervision sessions, allowing me to fine-tune my skills meticulously.
As a counsellor, I not only bring my professional knowledge and expertise into my sessions but also my life experience, so welcome to my life’s journey.
The first stop is my childhood, of course. We all carry some trauma from our early days. I am no exception, and some of my trauma I got to transform (much later in life) into my “superpowers” as a coach. With the help of my coaches, I have up-skilled my trauma into a sensitive intuition that can’t be easily fooled.
After University Entrance (UE) I was ready to travel and see the world and I made my way from Germany through Europe, Turkey, Iran, and Pakistan to India and Nepal all by bus and train. That gave me a lasting change of perspective.
Back home I became an actor. I deeply explored the human psyche in general and my own in particular and gained a somatic understanding of feelings, desires, needs… And I grew an ability to love and respect any character I played, be it a “good” or “evil” one. This experience helps me to approach others in a non-judgmental and open way.
As a father, I learned that life is not only about me. Unfortunately, I passed some of my generational trauma on to my kids. I so wish I had known what I know now when my kids were still young.
My training in Possibility Management has given me consulting and coaching practice from the very beginning. Coaching others has become a regular part of my life, whether it is individual counselling, relationship counselling or working in groups.
